Live Role-Playing Chess at Origins and Gen Con 2005!

Origins invited us back to run LRPC again. After last years sessions we were physically wasted. I was hoarse for a week. Inexplicably, we agreed to come back. Probably because Origins asked so nicely. Thanks to everyone who asked Origins to bring us back! Knowing that we were appreciated does a lot to inspire us to engage in this foolhardy endeavor.

The full schedule is online. It looks like we're running Wednesday 7pm; Thursday 3pm, 9pm; Friday 10am, 4pm, 8pm; Saturday 10am, 4pm, 8pm; and Sunday 10am. Note the Wednesday evening session; if you're around the evening before, come join us for some goofiness before the convention proper. You can buy tickets in advance, or just show up with three bucks in generics. Or, hell, cash, we're not too picky.

We'll also be back at Gen Con. Of course, LRPC has been at something like 9 of the last 10 Gen Cons, so you were probably expecting that. It looks like we're running at 4:00pm, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The bad news is that it's only 3 sessions (hey, we want some time play games ourselves!), but the good news is that it's a measly $1.50 to play.

Curious about what happened last year? I've got a trip report on Origins 2004 here.

Come play our goofy game with us! The gore there will be! We can't promise that stormtroopers will play, but we'll do what we can.
