Rating: 8/10 - Definately worth seeing
Hiding behind an overly long name and a basis in a Disney ride is a piratical movie. I love pirates, monkeys, and zombies, so any movie that gives me a pirate zombie monkey must be good. The plot is simple but fun, the special effects are impressive and used with care. Depp is brilliant as a slightly addled but crafty pirate down on his luck. If you're a fan of pirates, you owe it to yourself to see Pirates of the Caribbean.
